Ms. Elyse is a native New Yorker and has been teaching for 7 years. She graduated from the University of Scranton with a bachelors in Elementary Education and received her Masters degree in Literacy from Long Island University. For the past 4 years, Ms. Elyse taught 6th grade at Harlem Village Academies and is excited to bring her knowledge from the upper grades to New Bridges Elementary! Ms. Elyse also loves cooking, yoga, and exploring New York.
Ms. Naomi is a 4th grade teacher at New Bridges. She is a native New Yorker and earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications and Masters in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a Teach for America alum and has taught 4th, 5th and 6th grades in Philadelphia and the Bronx for a total of 6 years. Ms. Naomi loves to read and bake cookies and talk about her puppy, Juggie! She is so thrilled to join the New Bridges team. Go 4th Grade!
Ms. Danayah has been in the education field for over 10 years, first beginning her career with the NYC DOE, as a paraprofessional and then becoming a Special Education teacher. As a teacher, Ms Danayah has practiced as both a Special Education and General Education teacher. No matter which roll Ms. Danayah has held, she has striven to push her students to believe in themselves and what they could achieve. Ms. Danayah is a lover of the arts and as a founding 4th grade teacher at New Bridges, she is grateful to have the opportunity to work with like-minded people who strive for nothing but the best.
