Ms. Kelly hails from Rochester, NY where she was born and raised. After studying photography at Rochester Institute of Technology, she relocated to Boston, Ma to receive her Masters of Science in Art Education from Massachusetts College of Art. After 6 years in Boston, Kelly decided to head back to Rochester to be closer to her family. She received her second Masters of Fine Arts in photography, bookmaking and video at Visual Studies Workshop through SUNY Brockport. Ms. Kelly began teaching photography at 15 years old and realized right away that she wanted to be a teacher. She strongly believes in art as a means of expression. In her classroom, children will explore a variety of art materials while finding ways to creatively express who they are while, of course, having fun. Photography is her #1 interest closely followed by making books, reading, creative writing and going to the beach in the summer.
